Forget the harsh fluorescent lighting and intimidating heavy-metal music. When walking into Michael Norris' tattoo studio, Hubtattoo, customers are welcomed by Asian-inspired decor, colorful artwork, and an artist who is willing and ready to not only ink but to build relationships. Having tattoo'd internationally (including countries like Germany and Thailand) and after adopting this unique approach to his work, Norris has made his studio one of the most anticipated and marveled studios in the greater Austin area.
UT's University Theatre Guild

UT's University Theatre Guild has become a creative outlet for students that would like to act as a hobby, not a career. This theatre organization is also completely student-run. We talked to UTG President Kyle Winkelmann and UTG member Ryan Hooker about their personal experiences within the group. Winkelmann is also directing the upcoming comedy, The Brothers Grimm Spectaculaton. In our interview, he discussed how a student-run production has positively impacted the cast.
